Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis (prophy), scaling and root planing (SRP), and patient education regarding oral care.
- Perform radiographic procedures and interpret X-ray results to assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for efficient patient record management, scheduling, and communication.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards in accordance with OSHA and CDC regulations to ensure a safe environment for our patients.
- Build strong rapport with patients to promote a positive dental experience and encourage regular visits.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dental hygienist role, showcasing a solid understanding of dental hygiene principles and practices.
- A valid dental hygiene license and certifications for X-ray and CPR.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health.
- Proficiency in using dental software, specifically Eaglesoft, to streamline patient care.
Work Schedule:
This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week, with availability Tuesday through Thursday. Enjoy a one-hour lunch break to recharge and reconnect before continuing your important work.
Our office provides ample parking in the back lot, ensuring convenient access for both our staff and patients.
