Are you a passionate and skilled dental hygienist looking to join a remarkable team? Our state-of-the-art dental office in Wethersfield, Connecticut, specializes in General, PPO, and Private dental practices, and we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our family.
At Shapiro Family Dental, we pride ourselves on delivering superior dental care while ensuring that each patient feels at home. With an emphasis on patient satisfaction, we provide a wide range of services from routine cleanings and check-ups to advanced procedures such as dental implants, orthodontics, and gum therapies, all under one roof. Our exceptional team treats every patient with warmth and kindness, making even those with dental anxiety feel at ease.
As part of our growing practice, we are currently looking for a part-time dental hygienist who embodies our commitment to patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive oral assessments and executing preventive dental care, including scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and periodontal screenings. Your proficiency in using tools such as Cavitrons, digital X-rays, iTero scanners, and intraoral cameras will be vital in providing our patients with the highest level of care.
We value continued education and provide a supportive environment for professional growth. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, a strong understanding of dental charting and treatment planning, and a passion for educating patients on maintaining their oral health.
The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $50-$52, plus bonuses, CE courses and benefits, along with a one-hour lunch break between patients. You'll be seeing one patient at a time, dedicating approximately 60 minutes of focused care to each individual. New patients are 70 minutes.
