We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dental hygienist to join our warm and welcoming general dentistry practice. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a low-stress environment where patient care is our top priority. Our practice provides one-hour patient appointments, allowing you to focus on delivering personalized and high-quality care without feeling rushed.
As our dental hygienist, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth, applying sealants and fluoride treatments, and taking X-rays. You will also review and chart patient records, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. Your attention to detail is crucial in maintaining hygiene protocols, as well as keeping your treatment room clean and sanitized. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the hygiene supply inventory in your treatment area.
With Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8 AM to 5 PM as standard working hours, along with the possibility of occasional Fridays, you can achieve a healthy work-life balance while pursuing your passion for dental hygiene. A one-hour lunch break is provided from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM to recharge and regroup.
This position is available due to the retirement of our long-time dental hygienist, and we are looking for a candidate who has at least two years of experience in a dental office.
