Pedo/Ortho Receptionist

We are searching for an enthusiastic, caring and hardworking individual with DENTAL experience, great communication skills to join our amazing team. Ideal candidate must also be a team player, able to multitask, and be able to handle a fast paced practice. You will be responsible to coordinate scheduling, occasional treatment planning, and checking patients in and out.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out process
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with front desk operations and medical scheduling software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Epic, eClinicalWorks)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Preferred: Eaglesoft software Knowledge
