ASSOCIATE DENTIST – Mission-Driven, Modern Nonprofit Clinic

A state-of-the-art nonprofit dental clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Dentist to join their mission of expanding access to comprehensive oral health care for underserved communities. This is a unique opportunity to practice independently in a technologically advanced environment—while making a meaningful difference every day.
The clinic operates within a 5,000-square-foot, fully modernized facility equipped with 10 operatories, 2 CBCT x-ray units, digital denture printers, and an Ivoclar PM7 milling unit. It also functions as a live-patient CE training center where dentists can gain hands-on experience in implant and grafting techniques alongside top clinical educators.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 4 days per week, with flexibility to design your own weekday schedule (Monday–Friday staggered hours; two later days and an early Friday)
- Team Support: 3 experienced dental assistants + 1 RDH
- Patient Flow: 3-column schedule averaging ~15 patients per day
- Scope of Care: Comprehensive general dentistry including exams, dentures, crowns, fillings, and simple extractions (more complex surgical cases are referred to the Clinical Director)
Mentorship & Leadership:
This role reports to the clinic’s Board-Certified Prosthodontist Clinical Director, a seasoned educator and implant specialist who previously led an academic prosthodontics department for seven years. The Clinical Director is highly experienced in full-arch implant cases, All-on-4s, and overdentures—and is passionate about mentoring colleagues through hands-on training and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- DMD or DDS from an accredited U.S. dental school
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (5+ years strongly preferred)
- Confident practicing independently and managing a wide variety of patients, including those with complex dental or social needs
- Mission-driven and culturally sensitive approach to patient care
- Bilingual abilities strongly preferred
