We’re Gunbarrel Dental Center, a privately owned, fee-for-service dental practice in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, and we’re looking for a Dental Assistant to become part of our close-knit and supportive team. We currently have two dental assistants, one of whom will be transiting into another role at the practice, so we are looking for an additional full time assistant to join our team in her place.

We’re seeking a kind, reliable, and personable DA who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about providing patient-centered care. This is a full-time position, with hours from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Mon - Thurs, including a one-hour lunch break when the schedule allows.

Dr. Barone, with support from our assistants, performs the placement of composites and final crown cementations. While EDDA skills are valued, our assistants aren’t expected to carry the responsibility of full EDDA duties, allowing you to focus on clinical excellence and patient care.

Please note that we use Dentrix as our practice management software.

Detail-oriented and proactive
Comfortable with: Packing cord, intraoral scanning (Trios), final impressions and fabrication of temporary crowns, bleach trays, retainers, and stone models, dental photography (intraoral + extra-oral), OSHA sterilization standards, mounting models (willing to train)
CPR certified
Clear aligner experience is a plus!
Interest or experience in airway dentistry is a major bonus
