Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Houston, TXWe are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience who enjoys providing excellent patient care in a modern, fast-paced dental setting. Our practice includes 4 general doctors, 10 cutting-edge operatories, and 5 dedicated hygiene suites, with services spanning oral surgery, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, endodontics, and periodontal therapy. We welcome experience across general dentistry, pedodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, multi-specialty, single doctor, multi-doctor, PPO, private, and endodontics settings.
Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, supporting appointment scheduling, maintaining patient records, patient recall, insurance verification, and delivering outstanding customer service. Additional experience with dental terminology, expanded functions, front desk and front office support, Microsoft Office, and Open Dental is highly valued. Strong communication and organizational skills are important, along with a commitment to professionalism and teamwork.
The role offers a one-hour lunch break, parking behind the building, and a safe work environment with PPE provided, including disposable gowns, face shields, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, regular masks, and KN95 masks. Benefits include insurance, PTO, and vacation. Compensation starts at $18/hr+.
