What You'll Do
As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping our patients receive outstanding surgical care by:
Assisting the surgeon during procedures such as dental implant placement, extractions, bone grafting, and other oral surgery treatments.
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all instruments and equipment are ready for procedures.
Supporting patients before, during, and after surgery to help them feel informed and comfortable.
Taking digital X-rays, intra-oral scans, and CBCT scans.
Reviewing medical histories and updating patient records.
Providing post-operative instructions and answering patient questions.
Maintaining sterilization and infection control standards.
Managing clinical supplies and helping keep the office running smoothly.
Contributing to a positive, welcoming environment for patients and team members alike

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Oral surgery experience.
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification for Texas.
Radiology certification.
IV sedation monitoring experience.
Oral surgery Assisting experience (1-2+ years preferred).
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.

Bonus Qualifications
Experience in an oral surgery practice, not a general office doing oral surgery procedures.
Experience with office marketing and branding.
Experience with digital imaging systems (CBCT, intra oral x-ray and scanning).
