About the Role:
The Treatment Coordinator is a key patient-facing role responsible for guiding patients from consultation through case acceptance and scheduling. This position works closely with doctors and the administrative team to educate patients, present treatment plans, address financial questions, and help patients move forward with needed care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome patients and build strong, trusting relationships
* Present doctor-recommended treatment plans and educate patients on procedures
* Strong understanding of insurance breakdown and fees calculation
* Discuss financial arrangements leading to case acceptance and treatment
* Help patients overcome concerns and schedule treatment promptly
* Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and required documentation
* Strengthen referral relationships for practice growth
* Travel daily to corresponding office with the team
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in dental or surgical practice
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Confidence discussing treatment and finances with patients
* Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
* Empathetic, professional, and centered mindset serving both patients and team
* Amharic, French, and Spanish speakers appreciated
