Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Part-Time, Fridays + One Weekday

Hours: 15–17/week to start
Schedule: Friday 8:00–3:00 + one weekday (Tuesday or Thursday, 9:00–5:30). No evenings, no weekends.
Pay: $45–$64/hour, based on experience
Start: flexible, ideally by early December
Requirements: active Texas RDH license (TSBDE), current CPR/BLS. Nice to have: Spanish, TX local anesthesia and/or nitrous monitoring certificate, OpenDental.

Teravista Dentistry is a solo-doctor general and cosmetic practice on Sandy Brook Drive in Round Rock. One dentist, a small team, OpenDental, and a friendly bilingual (English/Spanish) patient base. We are a Diamond Plus Invisalign office with a strong restorative and perio side. Hygiene here runs at a realistic pace: no production quotas, no double-booked columns, and the doctor is in the building for every exam.

The role
Our current hygienist is scaling back her days, so you'd step into an existing hygiene schedule rather than build one from zero. We're opening Fridays (8 am–3 pm) plus one weekday, Tuesday or Thursday (9 am–5:30 pm) — about 15–17 hours per week to start, with more days added as the schedule grows. If you want a steady part-time home with the option to grow, this is it.

What you'll do
- Adult and child prophylaxis, perio maintenance, and scaling and root planing
- Perio charting and clinical notes in OpenDental, completed the same day
- Radiographs, fluoride, sealants, oral cancer screening, and patient education
- Co-diagnosis with the doctor — you'll have a real voice in treatment planning
- Keep your operatory stocked, sterilized, and ready

Must have
- Active Texas RDH license (TSBDE) in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfortable with SRP, perio maintenance, and perio charting
- OpenDental experience, or quick with similar software

Nice to have
- Spanish
- Texas local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide monitoring certificate
- Experience in a private, single-doctor office
