FT Pediatric Dental Assistant with Benefits
LOCATION
Ridgewood, NJWe are seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our Fee for Service well established Pediatric and Orthodontic practice. This position is available due to the retirement of our current dental assistant, and it offers a great opportunity to become part of a patient-focused team that provides quality care for children and orthodontic patients.
The ideal candidate should have a high school education and hold a current X-ray license, as this is required for the role. Experience in a dental office is preferred but not required, and candidates with an RDA are encouraged to apply, as cross-training in both pedodontics and orthodontics will be provided.
Responsibilities include assisting the doctor during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking and processing X-rays, and supporting smooth daily office operations. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with children and families are important for success in this role.
This full-time position includes a 1.25-hour lunch break and offers a flexible salary or hourly rate based on experience. Benefits include Medical, Holiday, Vacation, 401K, as well as Pediatric Dental and Orthodontics services.
