We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental ORTHODONTIC Assistant to join our dynamic team on Saturdays only. Our practice specializes in Pedodontics and Orthodontics, providing exceptional dental care to children in a fun and energetic environment. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service while ensuring each visit is enjoyable and stress-free for our young patients.
As a Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our office. You will be responsible for Chairside Assistance: Support the orthodontist during procedures such as placing braces, adjusting appliances, and taking impressions., Diagnostic Support: Take and process dental X-rays and digital scans. Sterilization & Setup: Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas according to infection control protocols. Patient Education: Provide instructions on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment guidelines. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and progress updates. Inventory Management: Monitor and order orthodontic supplies as needed.
Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Orthodontic assisting with CERTIFICATION , with skills in Eaglesoft and special skills in full bonding and adjustments preferred. Although being cross-trained is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
