We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental ORTHODONTIC Assistant to join our dynamic team on Saturdays only. Our practice specializes in Pedodontics and Orthodontics, providing exceptional dental care to children in a fun and energetic environment. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service while ensuring each visit is enjoyable and stress-free for our young patients.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our office. You will be responsible for chairside assistance, dental charting, insurance verification, patient recall, and scheduling. Your ability to thrive in a busy setting and work collaboratively with our talented team is essential. We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with children and is adaptable to the fast-paced demands of our practice.

Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Orthodontic assisting , with skills in Eaglesoft and special skills in full bonding and adjustments preferred. Although being cross-trained is advantageous, it is not mandatory.

Position Overview:

As a Pediatric Dentist at National Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry , you'll be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to children, from infants to teenagers and young adults. You'll work closely with a supportive and experienced team, using the latest technologies and treatments to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental exams, cleanings, and other treatments on pediatric patients.

Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

Create a positive and comfortable environment for children and families.

Collaborate with the clinical and administrative team to ensure smooth patient care.

Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in pediatric dentistry.

Qualifications:

DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.

Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.

Valid DC dental license (or eligibility to obtain one).

Passion for working with children and families.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build trust and rapport with young patients.

Experience with digital dentistry and modern treatment modalities is a plus.
