Front Desk Coordinator

Job Description:
We are a new children's dental office located in Frisco looking to hire a self motivated, solution-driven and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing office. This is a part-time position.
As a Front Desk Receptionist at edc Smiles Children’s Dentistry, you will be the first point of contact for our young patients and their families. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. In addition, you will also be involved in supporting our marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:
+ Greet and welcome patients and their families with a warm and friendly demeanor.
+ Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
+ Verify patient information and insurance details accurately.
+ Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about our services.
+ Present treatment plans clearly and confidently
+ Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing patient records.
+ Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately.
+ Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
+ Assist in marketing efforts, including but not limited to social media updates, email campaigns, and promotional events.

Requirements:
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office setting
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and their parents.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Proficient in using Open Dental or other dental office management software
+ Knowledge of basic dental terminology
+ Willingness to support marketing efforts and contribute creative ideas.
+ RDA license preferred
