Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality surgical care while delivering an excellent patient experience. This position offers flexibility, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, well-equipped environment.
Responsibilities
Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
Extractions (simple and surgical)
Wisdom teeth removal
Dental implants
Bone grafting and ridge preservation
Exposure and bonding
Biopsies and pathology evaluations
Evaluate patients, diagnose conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans
Administer and manage anesthesia and sedation in compliance with state and federal regulations (if applicable)
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Communicate effectively with patients, referring dentists, and clinical staff
Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Certificate of completion from an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
Active and unrestricted dental license in [State]
Board eligible or board certified (preferred)
Current DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (as required)
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
