Are you a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist looking for a part-time opportunity in a welcoming dental practice? We are a well-established general dentistry office in the charming area of Dover, PA, seeking a passionate professional to join our team of 2 hygienists.

As a member of our practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include performing thorough cleanings, calculus removal, periodontal treatments, fluoride treatments, scaling and root planning, and providing patient education. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our single doctor and collaborate in a supportive environment, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and comprehensive care.

Your schedule will consist of 50-minute appointments, during which you will have a chance to truly connect with each patient, addressing their unique needs and concerns. Our practice utilizes standard operatories and up-to-date equipment, allowing you to perform activities such as cavitroning and probing with ease. A floater will be available to assist with probings, ensuring that you can focus on delivering optimal care.

Our office provides essential PPE, including nitrile gloves, regular masks, and coats upon request. A one-hour lunch break from 1pm to 2pm will be provided to recharge during your workday, ensuring you remain energized and engaged.

In addition to an exceptional working environment, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $55 and the possibility of a 401(k) plan based on hours worked. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, and hold certifications in CPR and be able to take a full series of radiographs. Local anesthesia licensing is a bonus but not necessary. Familiarity with pediatric hygiene, pit and fissure sealants, scaling and root planning, and ultrasonic scaling are also valuable assets.
