In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play an important part in creating a positive experience from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying dental insurance, processing patient information, handling billing support, and manage daily for the office. You will also assist with patient communication, follow-up, and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate has a high school education or equivalent, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a warm, professional attitude. Experience in a dental office, comfort with computer systems and the ability to work well as part of a team are important.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Oversee daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, financial tracking, and supply inventory.
Team Management: Hire, train, and supervise clinic staff, including dental assistants, hygienists, and front-desk personnel.
Doctor Recruitment: Assist in recruiting and onboarding general dentists for the practice.
Financial Oversight: Billing insurance, Monitor expenses, maximize profitability, and achieve net growth targets.
Patient Experience: Ensure every patient receives outstanding care and customer service.
Marketing Collaboration: Work and implement strategies to attract and retain patients, plus outdoor events if needed.
Goal Achievement: Focus on growing the patient base, increasing net profitability, and maintaining high retention rates.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience managing a dental office.
Strong knowledge of dental office operations, including patient management software.
Must know how to use Open Dental patient management software.
Must be able to verify dental insurances, file claims, claim appeals, EOB posting, and doctor credentialing.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience in hiring and managing staff, as well as recruiting dental professionals.
Ability to meet and exceed performance goals, with a track record of driving growth.
Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and maximizing net profit.
