We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Dental Hygienist to become an integral part of our start-up dental practice that opened its doors in December 2024. As a small operation featuring a team of one front desk coordinator and two dental assistants, we are passionate about building a warm and collaborative culture. We are looking to onboard a talented hygienist who is eager to shape their working environment alongside us.

At our practice, we believe in providing a highly personalized approach to dental care. Our dedicated treatment rooms for hygiene services are currently in the final stages of construction, and we welcome the chance to incorporate your preferences as we finalize this space. While the rooms do not feature overhead lighting, we offer flexibility in your choice of a light source, whether that be the preferred Bilumix or a $1,000 contribution toward a loupe of your choice.

In this full-time role, you will provide essential dental hygiene services, including performing cleanings, prepping patients for treatment, and discussing oral hygiene practices to promote long-term health. The typical patient experience may involve seeing one patient at a time, or occasionally two, with approximately one hour dedicated to each.

As part of our commitment to your safety and health, we provide personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, goggles, and nitrile gloves. A one-hour lunch break from 12 PM to 1 PM is included in your workday.

We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience in dental hygiene, and who is proficient in both performing clinical duties and fostering patient rapport in a general practice setting.

In return for your skills and dedication, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $60-$70, along with benefits including participation in PPO and Maryland Healthy Smiles programs.

Our practice was built from scratch, so the 2 rooms that are dedicated to the hygienist are still being built. We are looking for a hygienist prior to the room being completely built out so that we can accommodate the hygienist's preferences to a certain degree. The rooms do not have overhead lights. This means that the office will provide a light source that the doctor prefers (Bilumix) or $1,000 toward a loupe of your choice. In addition, we believe that we have a great culture here. It is hard to explain in words, but if you decide to visit, you would be able to see it.
