We are a dynamic private dental practice located in NW Houston, celebrating 1.5 years of providing comprehensive dental care to our community. As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Dental Hygienist to contribute to our patient-focused practice. Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care to our patient base.

Your primary duties will include:

- Performing thorough dental cleanings and hygiene assessments.
- Offering oral hygiene instruction and patient education tailored to individual needs.
- Taking digital X-rays and performing iTero scans effectively and independently.
- Conducting treatment planning and assisting in the implementation of preventive measures such as scaling and root planing, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening if needed.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- An active dental hygiene license in Texas.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Able to take digital X-rays independently
- Strong communication skills and an ability to educate patients about their dental health.
- A dependable, team-oriented attitude and a caring demeanor.

Schedule:
- Every other Saturday: 7:45 - 1:00pm

Work Environment:

This role is designed with young families in mind, as we routinely treat patients across all age groups. With a patient-centric approach, you can expect to see one or two patients per hour, dedicating time to establish rapport and ensure comprehensive care. Our Saturdays have grown so we want to open more opportunities for hygiene that day. We're asking 1.5-2 columns with an assistant to help out.

Given our practice's structure, half-day shifts mean that there are no lunch breaks, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule efficiently.

We are a calm, easy going group that just wants to give good care to the area and grow the practice at the same time.
