Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive oral assessments and dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
- Utilize Eaglesoft for managing patient records and treatment plans.
- Provide education to patients about oral health, hygiene practices, and dental procedures.
- Work closely with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
- Foster a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that patients feel relaxed during their visit.

Qualifications:

- Valid licensure as a dental hygienist in the State of Michigan.
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software.
- Prior experience in a dental practice setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to creating a positive patient experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Brian S. Nylaan, D.D.S., a native of Grand Rapids and graduate of East Kentwood High School, received his Associate Degree of Arts and Science from the Grand Rapids Community College, Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Brian is a Life Member of the Michigan Dental Association, a member of the Chicago Dental Society, West Michigan Dental Society, and Life Member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Brian is also certified as a clear aligner provider by Invisalign, Clear Correct & Sure Smile. Dr. Brian also a certified Sleep Group Solution provider.
