Help Us Redefine Dentistry.
At 214 Dental Arts, we're not your typical dental office and we're not looking for a typical Dental Assistant.
We believe the best dentistry is conservative dentistry. We preserve before we replace, educate before we intervene, and prevent before we restore. Every decision we make is guided by preserving what nature created whenever possible and helping our patients maintain healthy smiles for life.
We practice Functional-Biomimetic-Wellness Dentistry, where our mission is to preserve natural tooth structure, prevent disease whenever possible, and deliver dentistry that respects biology and functions the way nature intended. We believe the best dentistry is often the dentistry that never has to be done because prevention comes first. We are NOT a holistic practice. There are aspects to our practice which are considered holistic.
Our practice is built around education, prevention, minimally invasive care, and long-term patient relationships. We don't just treat problems, we help patients understand why they occur and how to prevent them for life.
We're looking for a clinical leader who shares this philosophy, loves dogs and wants to help us create an exceptional experience for every patient. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, improving systems, anticipating needs before they're spoken, and helping us become more efficient every day.
What You'll Do:
As our Dental Assistant, you'll help lead our clinical team while ensuring every patient receives exceptional care.
You'll be responsible for:
Anticipating doctor and team needs before they arise
Increase opportunities for same-day treatment whenever clinically appropriate
Helping eliminate unnecessary patient visits through thoughtful planning and preparation
Preparing operatories with precision and attention to detail
Maintaining exceptional infection control and sterilization standards
Coordinating laboratory cases and clinical supplies
Identifying opportunities to improve systems and clinical efficiency every day
We're looking for someone who is:
A licensed Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Calm under pressure and proactive in solving problems
Passionate about prevention, patient education, and exceptional patient care
Naturally anticipates the next step instead of waiting for direction
Committed to continuous learning and professional growth
Our office features:
A prevention-first philosophy focused on preserving healthy teeth rather than simply repairing them
Advanced technology and modern treatment techniques
A collaborative, supportive team culture
Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth
Leadership that values your ideas and encourages innovation
Two friendly therapy dogs who help create a calm, welcoming environment for patients with dental anxiety—and make our workplace even more enjoyable
If you're looking for more than just another dental assisting position, if you're looking to help shape the future of a growing, prevention-focused biomimetic practice, we'd love to meet you.
The hourly pay range for this position begins at $23/hour and varies based on experience, certifications, expanded functions, and overall qualifications. Candidates are encouraged to share their preferred pay range so we can ensure alignment with their experience and expectations.
