Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, dependable Dental Assistant (DA) with a valid New Jersey Dental
Radiology (X-ray) license to play an integral role on our strong and supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with our doctor to provide clinical support in all areas of general and cosmetic dentistry. We provide paid training, making this an excellent opportunity for a motivated dental Assistant candidate seeking to advance their dental career.

Key Responsibilities
● Greet and escort patients to treatment rooms, ensuring comfort and care throughout their visit.
● Prepare treatment rooms, trays, instruments, and materials according to OSHA and office protocols.
● Assist the dentist chairside during a full range of dental procedures and cosmetic dentistry.
● Anticipate the doctor’s needs during treatment and ensure efficient patient flow.
● Expose and develop dental radiographs (digital, CBCT, iTero Lumman) in compliance with NJ regulations.
● Maintain accurate patient records and charting in ORCA Dental software.
● Disinfect and sterilize instruments and operatory areas to OSHA standards.
● Monitor patient arrival times and provide excellent communication and service.
● Keep supplies, instruments, and treatment room drawers organized.

Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED required.
● Valid New Jersey Dental Radiology (X-ray) license required.
● Current CPR (BLS) certification.
● Comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures for all phases of general dentistry.
● Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and OSHA/health & safety regulations.
● Excellent communication and people skills; attention to detail; well-organized and reliable.
● Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
● Prior dental assisting experience is a plus, but motivated candidates are welcome—we provide paid training.
