Hygienist Needed for Small Family Practice

This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who brings strong clinical skills, a calm and compassionate approach, and a commitment to helping patients maintain lifelong oral health. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, organized in daily responsibilities, and comfortable contributing to a collaborative dental team.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive preventive and periodontal care while seeing one patient at a time. Daily duties will involve calculus removal, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, ultrasonic scaling, fluoride treatment, oral hygiene instruction, and supporting periodontal treatment as needed. You will also be responsible for taking and reviewing x-rays using film and Gendex systems, maintaining accurate patient records, and managing patient recall in Open Dental. A current CPR certification is required.

We are looking for a professional who communicates clearly, follows clinical protocols, and delivers a positive patient experience at every visit. Strong chairside skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with patients are essential. A college-level education or equivalent dental hygiene training is expected.

This position includes a one-hour lunch break and convenient on-site parking. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PTO and health insurance.
