Dental hygiene assistant
LOCATION
San Marcos, TXWe are seeking a dependable, patient-focused hygiene assistant to support a busy general dental office serving a multi-doctor, PPO-based practice. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a high school education and 0–1 year of experience who holds an RDA license and is eager to grow in a professional clinical environment.
Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of dental procedures, preparing and sterilizing treatment rooms and instruments, taking and developing dental images as directed, updating patient records, and providing chairside support to ensure smooth, efficient patient care. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with both patients and team members are essential.
The office provides the following PPE for daily safety and comfort: disposable gowns, latex gloves, and regular masks. A 1-hour lunch break is included during the workday.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17–$19, depending on experience, along with a strong benefits package that includes dental, health, PTO, 401K, and employee discounts.
