Gentle Dental Edmond, a busy and patient-centered practice in downtown Edmond, is seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. As a Dental Hygienist at Gentle Dental Edmond, you will be vital in providing high-quality dental care across multiple practice areas, including General Dentistry, Orthodontics, HMO, PPO, and Corporate. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated general dentist and an in-house orthodontist, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their specific needs.

Your responsibilities will include performing thorough assessments, delivering preventive care, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. You will utilize your expertise in various procedures, such as scaling and root planing, periodontal treatment, and administering local anesthesia, while employing modern technology such as digital radiography and intraoral cameras. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed patient records, ensuring accurate documentation and championing patient education and recall initiatives.

To excel in this role, you should be a certified Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with a strong skill set that includes air polishing, nitrous oxide administration, patient education, and proficiency in four-handed dentistry. You will typically work one-on-one with patients, spending an hour with each, allowing for personalized and dedicated care.
