Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA)

Mile High Dental and Implant Centers located in Lakewood, is seeking an experienced Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our specialty dental practice full-time. Schedule: Full time, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:15pm

Compensation: $27-$30/hr, plus bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
*Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
*Reviewing patient health history
*Helping to educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
*Assisting with surgical procedures, crown seats, and a variety of treatments
*Capturing diagnostic X-rays including bitewings, FMX, Pano, CBCT
*Capturing IO Photos as needed
*Updating patient charts and treatment notes in Denticon

Skills:
*Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication skills both written and verbal
*Desire to be a part of a cohesive team

Requirements
*2+ years of experience as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
*X-Ray Certification Required
*Current CPR/BLS Certification Required
*EDDA Certification preferred
*Certified Dental Assistant preferred
*Experience with Denticon is a plus but is not required
