As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our practice, delivering personalized patient care with a focus on comfort and understanding. You will be responsible for performing various dental hygiene duties, including:
- Prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal treatment.
- Conducting periodontal screenings and developing individualized oral hygiene instructions.
- Administering and monitoring nitrous oxide to ensure a gentle experience for our patients.
- Utilizing advanced dental technologies, including digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and Carestream systems, to enhance our diagnostic capabilities.
- Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in a dental hygiene role, hold a valid CPR certification, and exhibit expertise in dental charting. Your ability to connect with patients and build rapport will be essential, as you will see one patient at a time and typically spend 1 hour and 20 minutes with each individual, ensuring they receive the focused attention they deserve.
