Insurance Coordinator at PPO Practice

LOCATION
Chicago, IL

We are looking for a part time insurance coordinator for our growing PPO practice in Lakeview. The position would be 1-2 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Fridays, with the potential to become a full time position. Minimum of two years experience required at a PPO dental practice.

Responsibilities will include:
-completing insurance breakdowns,
-following up on denied claims and appeals,
-creating insurance profiles
-creating new patient profiles with appropriate insurance profiles
-following up with insurance aging reports
-explaining benefits/coverage of procedures to patients
-checking out and scheduling patients for next visits, along with other front desk staff

Practice Details
-3 doctors and 10 employees
-Practice hours M-Th 8am-5pm, F 8am-1pm. No Saturdays or Sundays. Staff arrives between 7:15-7:30am daily. One hour lunch break M-Th, Friday no scheduled breaks.
-Software: Dentrix and Dexis
-covered parking available and provided if needed!
