ATX Dental Studio – Dental Assistant

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced, organized, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. This role supports our doctors chairside, ensures smooth clinical operations, and helps train junior assistants.

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists in general, prosthodontic, endodontic, oral surgery, and pediatric procedures (four-handed dentistry).
- Take X-rays, 3D scans, monitor vitals, and maintain strict infection control.
- Manage and update patient records (Dentrix preferred).
- Communicate treatment plans and post-op instructions clearly to patients.
- Sterilize instruments and keep operatories clean and organized.

Requirements
- Prior dental assisting experience required.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control.
- Proficient with X-rays; 3D scanning experience preferred.
- Dentrix/EMR familiarity is a plus.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and able to lead by example.
