Part time Dental Hygeinist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental professional to join our busy, full-time practice serving a diverse patient base. Our office provides care in general dentistry and orthodontics within a single-doctor setting, with a mix of Medicaid, PPO, and private patients. This role is an excellent fit for a motivated candidate who is confident, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality preventive care and patient education.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and must be proficient in all aspects of dental hygiene. Responsibilities include performing thorough cleanings, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing when appropriate, taking and reviewing dental radiographs, documenting findings accurately, and supporting treatment plans with clear communication and patient instruction. Because patient flow can vary, you may sometimes see one patient at a time and at other times manage two patients at a time, spending as needed with each individual to provide complete and attentive care.

A strong focus on professionalism, efficiency, and patient comfort is essential. You should be able to work well in a clinical setting that serves both routine and more specialized orthodontic needs. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control are expected. We value team members who are organized, dependable, and able to contribute positively to a collaborative office environment.

Our office prioritizes safety and preparedness by providing a full range of PPE, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, regular masks, and respirator masks. A 30-minute to 1-hour lunch break is provided each day, and parking is available conveniently in front of the office.
