Dental Assistant needed

LOCATION

Long Island City, NY

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join or patient centered dental practice in Long Island City.

Responsibilities include:
-preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments and equipments
-assisting the dentist in dental procedures
-taking digital x-rays and intraoral photos
-ensuring accurate charting and documentation
-educating patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
-maintaining OSHA and infection control standards
-helping keep the schedule running efficiently
-performing other clinical and admin duties as needed

Qualifications:
-dental assisting experience preferred but training is provided
-excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-dependable, organized, and a true team player
-positive attitude with a strong work ethic
-ability to multitask
