Full Time Dental Hygienist

We are currently looking for either, part-time or full-time Registered Dental Hygienists for our Louisville office.

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienists to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing dental hygiene procedures, educating patients on oral health, and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth.
Conduct periodontal assessments and charting.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays).
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and strategies for maintaining oral health.

Clinical Support:

Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized care plans for patients.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.

Compliance and Safety:

Adhere to all OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control.
Stay current with state and federal regulations, including those specific to Kentucky, governing dental hygiene practice.

Qualifications:

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Kentucky.
Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.
Anesthetic certificate preferred
Laser certification preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
