Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our perio-focused, high-detail team in Lakewood, CO.

Responsibilities
● Deliver thorough preventive and periodontal care using advanced equipment (OpenDental, Dexis X-ray systems, ultrasonic scaler).
● Perform comprehensive periodontal charting, full cancer screenings, and hygiene exams at every visit.
● Use intra-/extra-oral photos for patient education and documentation.
● Prepare X-rays (adults: 4 BW + 3 anterior PAs annually; perio patients: vertical BWs).
● Provide fluoride varnish and tailored home-care instructions at each preventive visit.
● Ensure seamless doctor handoffs with clear clinical and personal context.
● Maintain operatories: stock, sharpen, and organize instruments; prepare goody bags and post-op cards.
● Manage schedule downtime productively (patient calls, organization, sharpening) without clocking out.
● Support a culture of continuous learning with CE participation (Spear training courses).

Experience
● Active Colorado RDH license.
● Minimum 2–5 years of clinical hygiene experience preferred.
● Confident in periodontal care, patient education, and the use of ultrasonic instrumentation.

● Detail-oriented, warm, and professional with excellent communication skills.
● Comfortable with technology (Open Dental software, Dexis digital X-ray systems).

Schedule
● Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Pay
● $60 to $70 an hour
